August Releases For Gaming Bulletin

August has come to light, and we are preparing for a new round of Gaming Bulletin Releases where we discuss the newest games that that will be released in August. This is only the beginning of whats to be expected leading up to the end of the year.

Below is a full list of some of the biggest games yet to come compiled from the Gaming Bulletin.

 

1. Ark: Survival Evolved

PC/PS4/XONE – 29 August 2017

A sandbox survival simulator set in an open world, which draws inspiration from productions such as DayZ. Unlike in the aforementioned title, this time we fight against powerful prehistoric creature instead of zombies.

 

2. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

PS4 – 22 August 2017

The first story expansion for Uncharted 4: The Thief’s End. The add-on, also created by Naughty Dog, is a stand-alone title. For the first time in the history of the series, we control a different character – Chloe Frazer. The story begins some time after the events of Uncharted 4, and sees the heroine appear in India, where she attempts to find an ancient artifact, supported by Nadine Ross – a local mercenary.

 

3. Observer

PC/PS4/XONE – 15 August 2017

Observer is set in a cyberpunk universe, in Cracow of 2048. In the game you play as Daniel Lazarski (starred by Rutger Hauer, known from the film Blade Runner), a detective able to hack into people’s minds. The game’s story starts when the main hero gets a letter from his missing son, who turns out to be a high-ranking engineer working for a powerful corporation. The protagonist picks up an investigation that takes him to the slums of Cracow and forces him to relive dark memories and nightmares of both criminals and their victims.

 

4. Agents of Mayhem

PC/PS4/XONE – 15 August 2017

Agents of Mayhem is an open-world action game that takes place in futuristic Seul. The game’s plot focuses on the employees of M.A.Y.H.E.M., an organization that associates super agents from all over the world. They have to face the supervilians from L.E.G.I.O.N. who managed to take over almost the entire world. Only a group led by Persephone Brimstone can put an end to their rule. Their job is to defeat the forces of the evil Doctor Babylon.

 

5. Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle

Switch – 29 August 2017

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is a turn-based RPG crossover between two popular franchises, Super Mario and Rabbids. The iconic heroes of both series (Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach and four Rabbids) take part in our adventure. Gameplay is based on three elements: exploration, quests, and combat. We will explore four diverse worlds filled with secrets and riddles that await to be discovered and solved. Venturing through the game’s world takes place in real-time, but combat is turn-based.

 

6. Resident Evil Revelations

PS4/XONE – 29 August 2017

A survival horror action game initially released exclusively for Nintendo 3DS. Resident Evil: Revelations is a spin-off installment of the Resident Evil series, created and developed by Capcom. The action takes place in 2005, between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. The players have the opportunity to accompany Jill Valentine and Parker Luciani in their search for Chris Redfield and Jessica Sherawa. The trail leads to a ship called Queen Zenobia, the people aboard of which were infected by the t-Virus.

 

7. Life is Strange: Before the Storm

PC/PS4/XONE – 31 August 2017

A prequel to Life is Strange – an episodic adventure game developed by DONTNOD Entertainment. The new title was developed by Deck Nine Games and it enables the player to assume the role of Chloe Price, a character well known from the original game. The story presents how the protagonist met Rachel Amber and how the strong bond between two teenagers was born.

 

8. F1 2017

PC/PS4/XONE – 25 August 2017

F1 2017 is another installment of the popular formula one simulator series from Codemasters Software. The game introduces many changes and improvements in comparison to the previous installment of the series. Now, the career mode is much more complex and the multiplayer mode received some improvements. We will also find a completely new Championship Mode mode in F1 2017.
