If you ever used twentyfifteen, is a very nice theme (is free) that comes with WordPress installs. Default layout was sidebar on the left and content & footer on the right. However, I actually moved the footer on the bottom of the entire site and noticing that sidebar was overlapping the footer.

Did some inspect element only to found out that position fixed was somewhat added during theme load. After searching on Google there was nothing. So I dugged up the Github repo for twentyfifteen and searched position: fixed sidebar only to found out it was quietly loaded within functions.js file.

Code: Select all

$sidebar.attr( 'style', 'position: fixed;' );

Apparently removing on 3 lines containing the code above and refresh the js file actually does make the sidebar none fixed again! :jumpingjacks:
