When you lock your screen on Windows 10, by default there are randomized wallpapers that will change everyday or so.
In this post, we will be extract them.

If you have disabled those wallpaper or set your own, chances are you are not going to see them.

First, navigate to:

Code: Select all

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.ContentDeliveryManager_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState\Assets
Then click on the size column to sort from largest to smallest file size.
Now, look for files that are usually around 100 - 1000 KBs and copy them to somewhere.

Now we are going to rename those files to something readable by changing it to JPGs.

To do that, you will need to open CMD.
Use the following code:

Code: Select all

cd whatever directory you paste those files in
ren *.* *.jpg
rename ext.png
rename ext.png (5.18 KiB) Viewed 644 times
And that's it!
