Microsoft Exclusive Games Will Come To Steam In The Future

This is definitely a great news comes from Giant Bomb’s E3 live stream in an interview with Phil Spencer (head of the Xbox) talking about Xbox exclusive games on PC as previously those games would only release on Windows 10 store.

In response to the question about PC games on Steam, Spencer said:

They all haven’t gone swimmingly. Some of them have gone well, Forza 6 Apex did well. Quantum Break wasn’t our best PC release. Killer Instinct did well on PC. Gears of War Ultimate Edition was OK – we definitely learned there.

Previously, Microsoft is known for releasing several of it’s games such as Halo: Spartan Strike, Age of Empires II HD, Dead Rising 3, Ryse: Son of Rome and Pinball FX2 on Steam. None of those huge titles from the Halo series, Gears of War series and Forza series came to Steam (with the exceptions of Halo 1 & Halo 2 as a PC none Steam release).

As I talked about in the past on this website that Microsoft may still releasing it’s game through it’s cross platform (Universal Windows Platform) between Xbox One and Windows 10.

If Microsoft is keeping it’s promises, then we will see future Xbox exclusive games comes to Steam and it’s Windows store.
