New Nintendo 3DS Production Is Done For In Japan

Nintendo is currently ending production for the New Nintendo 3DS in Japan according to it’s website.

It seems that only the regular version of the New Nintendo 3DS are no longer in production. No words yet on the larger (XL/LL) version or the other territories outside of Japan.

This is no surprising given the fact that Nintendo made a similar notice when Wii U ended it’s production last year.

July Xbox Update Adds Custom Gamerpics Support & More

Microsoft has begun releasing the July 2017 update for Xbox One users starting this week which adds a tons of new features.

  • Custom Gamerpics – The feature since been available to beta testers from March, now users can finally set their own gamerpics. (You can upload custom pics from console, or the Xbox app on your PC and smartphone.)
  • Custom club imagery – Additionally, you can now add a custom club profile pic and club background.
  • Mixer co-streaming – You can now co-stream via Mixer (formerly known as Beam) with up to three friends.
  • Instant Xbox profile sign-in – With one press a button on your own controller to sign you into the console. (Not sure if works when passcode are set.)
  • User-generated Killer Instinct tournaments – You can create your own Killer Insticnt tournaments in Arena.
  • iOS/Android App Update – Now you can check your Xbox Game Pass subscription info inside the app, changing region for browsing the Xbox store and more.

Apple Adds PayPal As A New Payment For It’s Services

PayPal is widely available for popular websites like eBay, Beatport and many other big websites including Google Play Store and Microsoft Store. Now Apple is finally added PayPal into it’s list of payment method.

In the past, users have to either use a credit card attached to their account or by using a gift card to purchase items in the App Store. To use this feature, simply going to account settings and change your payment settings.

Once user has set PayPal by default, it will work instantly across all Apple devices given that Google and Microsoft had received the same treatment across different devices as well.

The feature is now available for iOS users across US, UK, Mexico, Australia, Canada, Austria, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Israel, Italy and Spain. Guess those non listed countries will have to wait before they can use PayPal as a new payment option.

Microsoft Is Adding ‘Steam Gift’ Feature To Xbox One Store

Soon gamers will be able to buy games for their friends similar to how Steam’s gift feature works. Mike Ybarra (Xbox Vise Dependent) posted on Twiiter.

This has made a highly requested feature by fans from the Xbox One feedback site which made more than 4000+ votes over past few years. This may be come sooner than we expected, possibly more news to be announced at Gamescom due next month.

Sony Adds Support For PS4 Games On PC With PlayStation Now

Sony is planning on adding PS4 titles to it’s streaming services, which followed back from an announcement made back in March. Currently it only have a handful of PS4 titles given that it only supported PS3 titles from it’s initial launch.
