Play System Shock Remastered Right Now On Your PC

Kickstarter is huge when comes to funding video games. Some of the well known project that appeared on Kickstarter is Shenmue 3 and recently released Mighty No. 9. Another big game on Kickstarter is the remastered version System Shock.

Now a beta for System Shock Remastered is available for download or Steam or GOG without actually funding the project.

According to developer Night Dive’s Kickstarter page, it describes the demo as “a proof of concept” and says that the performance, features, and visuals “are subject to change.”

If your PC meets the specs listed on the GOG page, then you sure can go ahead and play the demo now.

Minimum system requirements – Windows: 7 / 8.1 / 10 (64-bit versions)
Processor: Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 670 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or better
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 2 GB available space

The reviews from GOG are fairly positive, some users says that it feels like the original game and how they were. Some even want to come back when the full game is released.

Looks like the remastered version of System Shock are not Night Dive’s only game, they also have System Shock 3 in planned which announced back in 2015 with a short gameplay video.
