If you have watched some of the YouTube channels lately, you will notice some of the channels has a new outro that allows you to click the video. This is a brand new feature that YouTube has been testing about a month now.
According to the description on YouTube’s blog:
How do they work? In the last 5-20 seconds of your videos, you can now choose to show hard-to-miss thumbnail overlays that prompt viewers to watch your other videos, subscribe to your channel, visit collaborators’ channels, and more. Currently, many creators use Annotations, a desktop-only tool that allows you to add clickable links to your videos, to manually create end screens.
According to YouTube, this feature has been tested with some of it’s partners. This is the going to be the replacement to that annotations feature which most creators were using in the past and only worked on PC. End Screens will work with newer version of YouTube in iOS or Android and also will work on PC by default.
