A hacker moved some of the roughly $600 million in cryptocurrency stolen from the Axie Infinity to privacy tool Tornado Cash earlier this week.
5 or 9 validators were compromised. Those validator keys were used to validate the network and was enough to make a withdraw tokens from the Ronin into an external wallet (Tornado Cash).
Hacker used private keys to forge fake withdrawals within 2 sessions. 173,600 ether (ETH) and 25.5 million USDC was drained. Which can be seen here.
The creator, Sky Mavis managed to raise $150 million round led by Binance to recompense users with lost funds.
