Google Plans On Bring Android Games To Windows Starting Next Year

During Thursday night at The Game Awards, Google has announced that Google will bring Android games to Windows 10 and 11 sometimes in 2022. You’ve herd it right, Windows 10 and 11, unlike Android virtualization support on Windows.

Greg Hartrell, Google’s product director of games on Android and Google Play, have told The Verge:

This Google built product brings the best of Google Play Games to more laptops and desktops, and we are thrilled to expand our platform for players to enjoy their favorite Android games even more.

This news would be good for many of us as this is native support and doesn’t require the games vetted through a 3rd party vendor like Amazon. This means we could see achievement support as well.

So far there isn’t much news about it and so far only games are being supported at the moment.
